Growth plan

Every full card wins a prize.

A prize draw in place of a fixed reward. When a customer fills a card, StampMate draws a prize from the wheel. The prizes, and how often each one comes up, are set in the dashboard.

Simple for customers. Useful for owners.

What customers see

  • A prize every time a card fills up
  • The prize won and its expiry date
  • An incentive to start the next card straight away

What the owner sees

  • 2 to 10 prizes, each with its own odds
  • Each prize’s chance shown as a percentage before saving
  • Prize expiry after a set number of days
  • A test wheel before going live

How it works

  1. Set the prizes

Add 2 to 10 prizes and give each one a weight: a rare top prize, common smaller ones.

  2. A card fills up

Stamps work as normal. The draw happens the moment the last stamp is added.

  3. Claim it at the till

Staff see the prize won and mark it as claimed. Each prize can be claimed once only, and not after it expires.

A bigger top prize, without giving it to everyone

Custom odds

Each prize has a weight, and StampMate shows its chance as a percentage, so the giveaway is always clear.

Drawn once

The prize is drawn when the card completes, with no re-spins for a better one.

Can’t be claimed twice

Once staff mark a prize as claimed it is closed, and an expired prize cannot be claimed at all.

Expiry built in

Prizes are valid for 7 days by default, or any set number of days, which brings customers back sooner.

Cost per prize

The cost of each prize, shown alongside the odds before going live.

Custom colours

2 to 10 colours for the wheel, to match the brand.

What it looks like in practice

Example

Six prizes on a café’s wheel

Free coffee 50%, free pastry 20%, £2 off 12%, free upgrade 10%, coffee and cake 6%, and a free lunch 2% of the time.

Most full cards still win a coffee, so costs stay close to a standard stamp card. Every card still has a chance at the free lunch, which is the prize people talk about.

Questions owners ask

Which plan is it on?

Spin the wheel is included with Growth, at £49 a month. Core cards earn a single custom reward instead.

Why a prize wheel instead of a fixed reward?

A fixed reward is the same every time. A prize draw adds anticipation, and allows a bigger top prize without handing it to everyone.

Can I control how often the big prize comes up?

Yes. Every prize has a weight, and its exact chance is shown as a percentage before saving.

Do customers spin the wheel themselves?

The prize is drawn automatically when a card fills up. Staff can also send the customer a link to the wheel to watch it spin.

Does it work with points cards?

Spin the wheel is for stamp cards.
